The British summer is here, and whether you're topping up your lobster tan or sheltering from the storms, just remember it's yours, and no-one can take that away from you. Here at Seahouse we carry on like term never even ended.
Insula are about to let their new single off the leash. 'Like You' is the first of the new litter of songs the band recorded recently, and it's a typical ruff 'n' ready ball of energy from Darryl, Doc, Ross, and young pups Jake and Luke. What a muttly crew they are.
Don't paws for thought: get it followed on Spotify before its release this Friday. Definitely one for fans of Linkin Bark, Husky-Du, The Rabones and Furvana.
It's been a busy start to his Seahouse career for Jordan Gaffney, and he's back with his second single in quick succession.
Created using a mix of samples and live instruments, 'Encroaching' is a melodic stomper, guaranteed to rouse you from your summer slumber.
It's out on August 18th, do the pre-save thing here.
Another busy boy is Jamie Bosanko. Hot on the heels of last single A Little Grace comes 'Jennifer', already established as a live favourite and now getting a studio recording release, featuring Robbie Coplen on guitar, Emker Cel on bass and Dave Fox on drums.
Jamie has made a video for the song on location on his hometown of Barrow, and it promises to be a real treat. There's a typically bittersweet twist to the lyric in this song, which is out on 1st September. Pre-save it here
A first for Seahouse comes along on the first on September in the form of our first label compilation album, which will be released on Bandcamp only.

Finally...new music coming this autumn includes brand new albums from Jonny Swift and Emker Cel, the recordings of which have both been completed this summer. Olivia Dacre is in the studio this month as part of her Seahouse Scholarship, working on a new single which we already know is going to be fab. Grant Curnow has finished a new EP and is working on a video for his new single, and we have a new artist joining us next month which we are delighted about, and we can't wait to share all this music with you all!
