Hola! It's Friday, and Seahouse has more news to bring you. Olivia Dacre releases her new single Man on the Moon tomorrow (Sat 25th March). Her second single with Seahouse and this time Olivia brings out her guitar and studio band to give us a slice of dreamy retro pop. This song would easily sit in a 1950s Amercian movie where kids drink milkshakes at a diner, but make your own minds up! It gets its first spin on radio tonight on Deb Henry's show on Cando FM at 6pm.
Olivia plays live at the Seahouse Showcase Number FIVE tomorrow (Sat 25th March). Jonny Swift and Prater Monks also appear, and new band Sharpshooter fill in for Insula who have had to pull out.
The gig takes place at BUMS (Barrow Underground Music Society), at Carlisle Street, Barrow-in-Furness. Doors are 8pm and it's £5 entry.
We are hoping that this will be the first of many Seahouse gigs at BUMS, it really is an excellent venue which puts on the best independent music from the area and is also earning a reputation as a stopping off point for national touring acts too.
See you there!
Insula are in with a chance of playing the Isle Of Wight festival this year, and you can help them by casting your vote here
That's almost all for today, but until we meet again, please visit the following links to pre-save our upcoming releases on Spotify. By doing so, you will help the music get onto more playlists and heard by more people.
