A little bit of this, a little bit of that.

Written byFIWebteam

Welcome, welcome, welcome! This is the Seahouse Newsletter on the last day of June (if you haven't heard the Neil Finn song of that name, please look it up, it's a beauty).

We start today with news of a new release from Jamie Bosanko. A Little Grace is a slow burner of a tune, with Jamie's guitars blending with organ and his trusty rhythm section to provide a bed for his melodic vocal to lay down on.

A video premiere is scheduled for the very specific time of 6.45pm this Saturday. We'll see you in the chat!

Listen to A Little Grace everywhere, Spotify link here.

We are very pleased to have Jordan Gaffney join us as our newest Seahouse Records artist.

Manchester based singer songwriter Jordan pens songs relating to everyday life. Former frontman of Freshman, his songs draw influence from the writing styles of Radiohead, Blur and the Arctic Monkeys and have earned regular plays on BBC introducing.

As well as being the presenter of the Indie Rock Show in Salford City Radio, he sometimes dips into the DJ scene with club sets across Manchester. Jordan is currently writing new solo material to be released alongside his previous “Freshman” album songs over 2023.

The first single release on Seahouse is Only Friend, which is out on 8th July, and available to pre-save here

We hope you enjoyed Another Fine Fest as much as we did. Thank you to all the artists who played, and to everyone who came to watch and say hello. We made a load of new friends and we will be back with another stage next year! Special thanks to The Marx: Mark Preston (of Prater Monks) and Mark Docherty (of Mark Docherty) for their amazing hard work in setting up and sound tech'ing the day in hot and cramped conditions! Buy those guys a beer.

We will be back in July with details of two new projects: Seahouse Scholarships, and a Songwriting / Mental Health event, as well as news of new releases from all your faves, old and new.

In the meantime, check out our updated videos page, stay cool / warm / dry / whatever the weather, and thanks for your continued support.

All the Seahouse team xxxxxxxx
