Welcome, welcome, welcome! Our first newsletter of the month is brief but tasty. A bit like that ever-diminishing favourite childhood biscuit...
Pearl And The Piano have released a new single. Mrs Jones is a classic piece of singer-songwriter soul, courtesy of Carly and Graeme. We think you'll like singing along to this one into your hairbrush microphone.
You can find it everywhere, but here is the Spotify link.
Look out for some live appearance this summer from the duo.
Mark Docherty has also released a new single. This one is called No Saint, and is the third pre-release from his forthcoming album Reckless Abandon, due in June.
This is a typically dark and atmospheric work from Mark, and you can watch a lyric video for the song here.
Watch out for some live action from Mark and his full band this summer, including Another Fine Fest in Ulverston!
We've started a Podcast. This first episode sees Matt interviewing Jamie Bosanko about his 2015 album Echolocation. A good time was had by all!
We hope to do one of these a month, in different styles, featuring all of your favourite Seahouse artists.
Gossip...it is rumoured that The AeroBees, Jamie Bosanko, Prater Monks, Jonny Swift, Fizzy Milk and Emker Cel have all been making new music recently. Insula are heading into the studio next week too, and we are sure it will be a busy summer of releases. More news as we get it.
Summer sees our artists involved in many live performances. Check out our updated live events page to see what's happening. Hope to see you there!
Until next time, thank you for listening and for your ongoing support.
