
Trev Gibb/King of the Sea is a songwriter and composer for film from Northern England.
He has released 3 albums, Sleepy Bones (2012) recorded by David Brewis of Field Music, Nucleotides (2016) produced by Mick Ross (James Bay, Frankie and the Heartstrings, The Lake Poets) and AYA (2021) with producer Harbourmaster, as well as EPs including Secret Heroes (2023).
He has worked in music for over 20 years and supported and collaborated with many independent artists and musicians including Field Music, and supporting Kaiser Chiefs and Public Service Broadcasting at Newcastle Arena in 2015.
Trev also writes music for film, in a long collaboration with Chicago Filmmaker Michael Glover Smith, including the films HEKLA (2026) and Relative (2022).
Trev is currently finishing up his 4th album Silver Cross.
