The Sea House Music Venue is a collaboration between Seahouse Records and Women’s Community Matters. Based in the Grade II listed building of the Nan Tait Centre in Barrow, The Sea House Music Venue is an alternative music venue: a safe, welcoming, inclusive space for all. It is alcohol-free, vegetarian food is served, events will be daytime or early evenings, families are welcome - our kids for a quid policy is to encourage young people, who can’t access live music elsewhere, to come and experience the events.
From January 2026, we are aiming to put on one show a month, and this will be the last weekend of each month. The aim will be to provide original live music, spoken word, poetry, and more, from local and national artists.
