Manchester's most intriguing musical collective is back, and they're bringing something absolutely electric with them.
Psyklones – the shape-shifting ensemble with their ever-evolving lineup of talented musicians – first caught our attention with their 2022 debut Ballads of the Nightshift. Now, they're gearing up to drop their highly anticipated follow-up, Ballet of Sniper's Alley, coming this Autumn 2025 via Seahouse Records.
But first, we're giving you a taste of what's to come with the absolutely addictive "Taxi Driver Blues," hitting your speakers on August 15th, 2025.
This isn't your typical blues track – it's a lyrically surreal, fast-paced psychological thriller that marries classic blues chords with an infectiously foot-tapping rhythm that'll have you hooked from the first listen. Fair warning: there's no need for an Uber with this song because it's coming with you and staying put for the rest of the day. Don't say we didn't warn you!
The single comes loaded with two exclusive bonus tracks that won't appear on the upcoming album – "The Side of These Rocks" and "I Found the Devil" – making this a must-have release for any serious Psyklones fan.
