Introducing "Troubles of an Amateur Timelord" by Grant Curnow! Grant says, "The album is a collection of my favourite songs from my 10 plus years of being a musical comedian on the comedy circuit and performing several fringe festivals".
Grant Curnow's music style can be described as tragic novelty folk; he draws inspiration from lo-fi indie acts such as Adam Green, Moldy Peaches, Jeffrey Lewis, and Eels. As well as musical comedy icons like John Shuttleworth, Flight of the Conchords, and Frank Sidebottom. Grant told us his favourite comics are "Woody Allen, Demetri Martin, Steve Martin, Harry Hill, Reeves and Mortimer, Gary Shandling and Larry David".
In "Troubles of an Amateur Timelord", Grant says, "My lyrics are inspired by my real life tragic comic events that have happened to me or other social anxieties", this brings a unique blend of humor and heartfelt storytelling to the Seahouse Records roster.
Grant aims to connect with a wider audience and invites listeners into his quirky world of musical comedy.
