Alex is a musician and songwriter from the Lancashire / Cumbria borderlands. She studied music at Kendal College and has since developed a strong reputation with live solo performances around the two counties.
Last year she won Carnforth X-Factor, a charity competition to raise money for the local hospice, St John’s. Part of her prize was to record a song with Seahouse Records.
We are very proud to present Bittersweet, a song co-written and co-produced by Alex, along with Seahouse artists Mark Docherty and Emker Cel. Alex’s lyrics are a tribute to the experiences shared by anyone who passes through the hospice. All proceeds from this song will be forwarded to St John’s Hospice, Lancaster.
