Jim Templa

Hailing from Lancashire, Jim took up guitar aged 12. He started his musical career in the heavy rock band Bitches Sin and played gigs across Britain before forming his own band, Goldsmith, who featured on the Radio 1 Rock Show with their single ”Life is killing me”. To this day their music is still re-released in Europe and sells worldwide.

In 1987 Jim moved to London and continued his music career doing among other things an advert for McDonalds and a collaboration with Colin Vearncombe of “Wonderful Life” fame.

A move to Manchester saw a CD released in 2004 as Hod The God called “The Music Room” which was played extensively in the US.

Moving to Cumbria in 2006 he is now vocalist and guitarist for The Jim Templa Band. “Songs From Carter Pool” is the first release on Sea House Records for The Jim Templa Band and features 11 superbly written and performed originals.
